There is a Dutch Town called Veessen

A Man called Gerrit lives there
He repairs R16's in his privat Time
Gerrit repairs my R16 and is still repairing
My Boy's are repairing theirs
One Day we will drive again
It is important to have good help when you're restoring cars.
But sometimes the help needs to fix their own car
The outer sills often needs some repairs or even replacing.
On Ger's car even the inner sill needed replacing.
When you replace both the inner and outer sill it is important to make sure that the body doesn't twist or bend.
This frame was connected to the door mountings in front
... and to the rear safety belt mountings in the rear.
Here the inner sill is in place. But a lot of more work has to be done.
